Full Heart Message / A Place I Know by Jeffrey Cheung
"A hardcover monograph featuring works by Oakland, California–based artist Jeffrey Cheung, centered on pieces presented in his 2025 solo exhibition Full Heart Message at our gallery commune in Hatagaya, Tokyo, and his 2026 solo exhibition A Place I Know at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Cheung's freely rendered drawings and paintings reflect the kindness and warmth he discovers through his surroundings, everyday experiences, and imagination. Depicting intimate, quiet moments alongside humorous and subtly absurd scenes, his work explores human connection, relationships, and the many ways love can be expressed.
With its gentle humor and compassionate perspective, this volume quietly reminds us of the importance of caring for one another and expressing love, inviting readers into the warmth and sincerity that define Cheung's practice."
104 pages, approx. 7.5" x 10.25", full color, clothbound hardcover. Printed in Japan. Edition of 500, published by commune Press and Unity Press, 2026.
