"The comic book store Secret Headquarters has copies of Happy comics: the Ash Can- They are located in Atwater Village. If you don’t know it - It’s a quaint little town right next to Glendale- closer to LA. Well worth visiting, even if you don’t want the comic. Be sure and stop it Viet Noodle Bar and have the best Pho you’ve ever had- and tell them William sent you- they also make homemade sourdough bread to die for- across the street is a bakery called Proof that’s fantastic- there’s a health orientated juice and ice cream place- there’s a really good bookstore that has tons of great art books- and a vintage store too a couple of them-definitely worth making a half day of it- the best thing there there’s no chain stores there— also the little houses around there beautiful old architecture" - Bill
